This last summer Ava announced she was going to do a "fashion show". She went upstairs, chopped her hair, changed her clothes and came down to show off. My heart sank when I saw how short she had cut her bangs (and the fact that she had cut her hair at all) and Jordan just said "Ava! What did you do????" (It's ok, he used to say the same thing to me after a hair cut, he's still learning.) So Ava felt bad but slowly her hair is coming back and she is still as happy as ever. The first picture was in July when she did it, and the 2nd in October, almost 3 months after the cut. Here's to hoping the growth speed picks up just a tad.

holly. adorable new little kitty. so ava's hair looks positively adorable! i mean in july it looks pretty traumatic but now it just looks like a cute pixie cut. love it. and love you! hope you are well. p.s. 'be still and know that i am god' is one of my very favorite scriptures. it calms me.

Oh no! My kids have cut little chunks out. You probably don't want to hear it, but I think she looks so cute with the short hair!!
